Dr. Sean Carey is a Professor in the School of Earth, Environment & Society at McMaster University

Dr. Elliott Skierszkan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Earth Sciences at Carleton University

Dr Matt Lindsay is a Professor in the Department of Geological Sciences at the University of Saskatchewan

Andras Szeitz is a PhD student at McMaster University in the School of Earth, Environment & Society

Sean, Elliott and Matt have been working for many years in the Yukon Territory studying streams, groundwater and water quality. Andras is in the final stages of his PhD and has provided critical expertise in understanding the extent of the rusting phenomenon. Much of the recent stream rusting has been observed in the Tombstone Territorial Park region and around Mayo. We are working to expand the research team and local partnerships to address this emergent issue.
